Old Crow Smokehouse - 149 W Kinzie St, Chicago, IL

Today was all about my arch nemesis….birds. When I went out for my afternoon walk I finally almost caught one of those pesky pigeons that are always trying to move into my yard, but they flew away right as I was about to pounce on them. Then instead of heading back inside for my usual afternoon snack my Daddy put me in my favorite cocktail dress and brought me to  meet my mommy and her friends at a place called Old Crow. Now I don’t know about you, but crows and I usually don’t get along. They’re always yelling at me and flapping around in my yard.

However, I guess when they get older they must get better because this Old Crow’s house was really nice! It had a big patio that served lots of yummy treats and had really nice waitresses that kept bringing my mommy and her friends lots of their favorite treats. They set up an umbrella to keep me cool and brought me my own cold drink so I didn’t feel left out. They didn’t seem to have dinner for me, but my mommy let me share some of hers so I didn’t mind staying there for a few hours.

All in all, I had a great time at the Old Crow’s house! Maybe, pigeons get nicer when they’re older too?
